Tabloul era intens colorat, plin de energie,pentru Stern este o dragoste la prima vedere. \u00cent\u00e2lnirea cu pictura lui Ascher reprezint\u0103 o piatr\u0103 de hotar, Stern afectat\u0103 de cele v\u0103zute ia hot\u0103r\u00e2rea s\u0103 studieze via\u0163a artistului. Se cufund\u0103 \u00een arhive \u015fi bate la u\u015fa vecinilor care au locuit c\u00e2ndva l\u00e2ng\u0103 artist. \u00cen cele din urm\u0103, cople\u015fit\u0103 de cele g\u0103site, fondeaz\u0103 la New York asocia\u0163ia &#8220;Fritz Ascher pentru art\u0103 persecutat\u0103, ostracizat\u0103 \u015fi interzis\u0103&#8221;.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i158.photobucket.com\/albums\/t103\/egophobia\/44\/fa2_zpsygdad5ts.jpg?w=812\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este un institut care are ca scop sprijinul arti\u015ftilor afla\u0163i \u015fi azi \u00een regimuri totalitare. Este o voce important\u0103 \u00eempotriva maltrat\u0103rii artelor \u015fi a prigoanei politice. Ascher a supravie\u0163uit r\u0103zboiului dar refuzul de a fi acceptat de societate a continuat mult timp. Mul\u0163i germani \u015ftiau despre arta jefuit\u0103 \u015fi ascuns\u0103 de nazi\u015fti. Multe opere s-au pierdut, au fost v\u00e2ndute,distruse,dislocate. Funda\u0163ia va lansa prima sa expozi\u0163ie \u00een 2016. Pictura sa este acum de factur\u0103 religioas\u0103, expresiv\u0103. Dou\u0103 tablouri &#8220;Golem &#8220;(1916) \u015fi &#8220;Crucificare&#8221;(1918) sunt expuse la muzeul Evreiesc din Berlin. Va lucre al\u0103turi de alt pictor refuzat vestitul &#8220;Emil Nolde. Dar aceast\u0103 relativ\u0103 libertate se termin\u0103 \u00een 1942 c\u00e2nd nazi\u015fti \u00eel caut\u0103 din nou pentru al deporta. Acela\u015fi amic Grassmann \u00eel ascunde pentru al\u0163i 3 lungi ani \u00eentr-o vil\u0103 Berlinez\u0103 par\u0163ial distrus\u0103, aflat\u0103 \u00een cartierul nazist din centrul ora\u015fului. \u00cempiedicat s\u0103 picteze Ascher alege drumul poeziei. Locuia cu Marta Grassmann \u00een strada Bismarckallee. Studioul era o camer\u0103 semicircular\u0103 ne\u00eenc\u0103lzit\u0103 iernile. Dup\u0103 c\u0103derea \u015fi eliberarea Berlinului Fritz Ascher poate ie\u015fi din vizuina sa ca s\u0103 se dedice total picturii pe care o va practica p\u00e2n\u0103 la moartea sa \u00een 1970.
