Insomnia<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Saigon, shit:
\nit\u2019s Saigon, it\u2019s jet lag,
\nand I\u2019m not a big Valium fan,
\nor of counting sheep
\n(or of reading Conrad),
\nand I don\u2019t feel like loving myself
\nwith just my hand
\nin the middle of the Apocalypse,
\nso I go down to buy at a lolitas store,
\nto the five and dime on the corner,
\nsomething new
\nsomething old,
\nsomething borrowed
\nand something blue,
\nso I chose Wo,
\nwithout any more name or love
\nor background or last name,
\njust Wo,
\nfor, minutes later,
\nstars under the Sheraton\u2019s rain
\n(electric delirious
\nspongy strong soft):
\nVietnamese shower,
\nprevious lack of pumping
\nand, after navigating the Leviathan together,
\nSitting Bull I have finally died:
\nI go to the room
\nfor my wallet,
\nI pay her
\nand I pour myself some verses of Johnie Walker
\nover the cubic solidity of the water:
\nGod is all around.<\/p>\n

Among telephone listenings, and hidden cameras,
\non a terrace in Germany, and infiltrators:

\na delivery man,

\nthe shouts under the tent,
\nand the consequent roar of the mass
\nand the Garden Terror
\nagainst 1,
\nagainst 100,
\nagainst 1,000,
\nagainst the rest,
\nagainst life,
\nand all of it before
\nmy sheriff\u2019s badge
\n-unproductive pedal-propelled Dodge-
\nand my last executioner\u2019s fear
\nafter firing into a black\u2019s temple,
\nthat is,
\nat the same time as his bubble world
