Zinoviev), fost crainic \u0219i redactor la postul de radio <em>Europa Liber\u0103<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Din punct de vedere al teoriei literare, <em>Dincolo de farmecul nop\u021bii<\/em> (Ed. Vremea, 2017) apar\u021bine stilului func\u0163ional beletristic, curentului literar postmodernist, categoriei estetice a josnicului (operele care se \u00eencadreaz\u0103 \u00een aceast\u0103 categorie estetic\u0103 sunt cele \u00een care autorul alege s\u0103 prezinte cititorului personaje \u0219i fapte imorale, situate \u201ejos pe scara valorilor umane\u201d \u2013 fire\u0219te, aceasta nu confer\u0103 \u00een mod obligatoriu operei un caracter imoral\/josnic, crea\u021bia artistic\u0103 put\u00e2nd avea, \u00een fapt, chiar rolul opus, de avertisment moralizator!), genului literar epic, speciei literare (formale \u0219i, respectiv, tematice) a romanului criminalistic, subspeciei literare interlope (mai cunoscut\u0103 la noi sub denumirea netradus\u0103, \u201enoir\u201d, \u0219i, din nefericire, deseori confundat\u0103 cu alte subspecii ale romanului criminalistic, cum ar fi cea judiciar\u0103 \u2013 \u201epolice procedural\u201d\/\u201elegal thriller\u201d \u2013 ori cea detectivistic\u0103 \u2013 \u201ehard-boiled\u201d).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Din punct de vedere al literaturii comparate, romanul poate fi asociat unor opere precum <em>O adun\u0103tur\u0103 de lichele<\/em> (<em>A Can of Worms<\/em>; J.H. Chase, 1979) sau <em>Vin\u0103 m\u0103rturisit\u0103<\/em> (<em>Pleading Guilty<\/em>; S. Turow, 1993).<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.vgy.me\/hpU4wR.jpg?w=812&#038;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Subiectul urm\u0103re\u0219te aventurile palpitante, pline de primejdii diurne \u0219i, mai ales, nocturne, ale unor \u201eb\u0103ie\u021bi grei\u201d (de diferite etnii) \u0219i \u201efemei u\u0219oare\u201d (\u00een c\u0103utare de distrac\u021bie \u0219i de senza\u021bii tari) din \u201efauna\u201d interlop\u0103 bucure\u0219tean\u0103, implica\u021bi, unii dintre ace\u0219tia, inclusiv \u00een afaceri necurate de anvergur\u0103 mondial\u0103 \u2013 aventuri declan\u0219ate de goana dup\u0103 dou\u0103 milioane \u0219i jum\u0103tate de euro proveni\u021bi din traficul de arme, descoperi\u021bi \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103tor \u00eentr-un autoturism furat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce ac\u021biunea se desf\u0103\u0219oar\u0103, autorul introduce interesante referin\u021be culturale (inclusiv un extins \u0219i inedit comentariu al poeziei lui M. Eminescu, <em>\u0218i dac\u0103&#8230;<\/em>), precum \u0219i no\u021biuni de filozofie artistic\u0103 (exprimate at\u00e2t prin intermediul uneia dintre protagoniste \u2013 o t\u00e2n\u0103r\u0103 actri\u021b\u0103 ratat\u0103 \u2013, c\u00e2t \u0219i prin intermediul unui personaj absent, un artist boem cu \u00eenclina\u021bii teologice, pe care ajungem s\u0103 \u00eel cunoa\u0219tem \u2013 \u0219i s\u0103 \u00eel apreciem \u2013 cu ajutorul amintirilor iubitei sale).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Majoritatea personajelor, excelent construite, nu sunt menite a st\u00e2rni admira\u021bia cititorului \u2013 specia literar\u0103 presupune, prin defini\u021bie, o poveste a drojdiei societ\u0103\u021bii (unora dintre personajele sale, autorul le acord\u0103 circumstan\u021be atenuante, atribuind comportamentul acestora \u201evalurilor tinere\u021bii\u201d \u0219i traumelor din trecut, nu spiritului putred: dup\u0103 ce le sanc\u021bioneaz\u0103 \u2013 trimi\u021b\u00e2ndu-ne cu g\u00e2ndul, subtil, la <em>Portretul lui Dorian Gray<\/em> \u2013, ne las\u0103 s\u0103 \u00een\u021belegem c\u0103 \u0219i-au \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat lec\u021bia \u0219i c\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i vor schimba via\u021ba, apel\u00e2nd, poate, inclusiv la preceptele morale cre\u0219tine pe care le ignoraser\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een acel moment, \u00een ciuda crucifixului aflat permanent la g\u00e2tul unuia dintre personaje \u0219i care \u00eei determin\u0103 pe supravie\u021buitori s\u0103 exclame, \u00een final, un surprinz\u0103tor \u0219i \u0219ov\u0103itor \u201eDoamne ajut\u0103!\u201d).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201eCalit\u0103\u021bile\u201d pe care protagoni\u0219tii le au sau pe care \u00ee\u0219i \u00eenchipuie ace\u0219tia c\u0103 le-ar avea (curajul sau, mai bine zis, \u00eendr\u0103zneala; talentul la tir; preg\u0103tirea \u0219i \u00eendem\u00e2narea \u00een lupta corp la corp; priceperea de \u201ea face bani\u201d ori \u201eharul actoricesc\u201d; contactele sus-puse etc.) se dovedesc inutile chiar \u0219i \u00een lumea lor, dup\u0103 cum ne arat\u0103 deznod\u0103m\u00e2ntul: cei care supravie\u021buiesc \u00eenfrunt\u0103rii finale, supravie\u021buiesc ca urmare a unei \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103ri norocoase (ori poate, crede un personaj, datorit\u0103 interven\u021biei divine) \u2013 un defect de fabrica\u021bie al unei arme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nici m\u0103car (anti)eroina principal\u0103, poz\u00e2nd (fa\u021b\u0103 de ea \u00eens\u0103\u0219i \u0219i fa\u021b\u0103 de cititori) \u00een artista decadent\u0103 care a optat pentru un mod de via\u021b\u0103 superficial \u0219i teribilist de dragul \u201eexperien\u021bei\u201d, nu reu\u0219e\u0219te s\u0103 ne conving\u0103 c\u0103 ar fi, cum \u00eei place s\u0103 cread\u0103, mai mult dec\u00e2t a ales s\u0103 par\u0103 \u2013 dimpotriv\u0103, demonstreaz\u0103 \u00een repetate r\u00e2nduri c\u0103 este mai pu\u021bin dec\u00e2t pare, dovedindu-se constant incapabil\u0103 de gesturi onorabile. Iar prietena fidel\u0103 a acesteia pare mai preocupat\u0103 de probarea unor rochii scumpe \u00a0(\u201ecu ochii aprin\u0219i de pl\u0103cere\u201d, ne informeaz\u0103 autorul) \u0219i de reu\u0219ita unei \u201e\u021bepe\u201d financiare, dec\u00e2t de soarta amicei r\u0103pite (dup\u0103 o scurt\u0103 \u0219i neconving\u0103toare lamentare, suficient\u0103 doar pentru adormirea unei con\u0219tiin\u021be primitive \u0219i rapid l\u0103sate \u00een urm\u0103 \u00een v\u00e2ltoarea evenimentelor).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cu toate acestea, A. \u0218tef\u0103nescu decide s\u0103 ne prezint\u0103 \u0219i c\u00e2teva \u201elumini\u021be \u00een bezn\u0103\u201d, caractere care nu au abdicat de la idealuri nobile sau care, cel pu\u021bin, reu\u0219esc s\u0103 se ridice deasupra condi\u021biei lor. Pe unul dintre acestea l-am men\u021bionat mai sus, \u00een pasajul referitor la filozofia artistic\u0103. Altul este un reprezentant al for\u021belor de ordine, din p\u0103cate doar personaj episodic; \u00een sf\u00e2r\u0219it, cel de al treilea personaj care \u00ee\u0219i poate atrage din partea cititorilor aten\u021bia \u00een\u021beleg\u0103toare, ori chiar simpatia, ocup\u0103 o pozi\u021bie important\u0103 \u00een intrig\u0103 \u0219i constituie o surpriz\u0103: unul dintre periculo\u0219ii antagoni\u0219ti dezv\u0103luie neb\u0103nuite calit\u0103\u021bi umane (pun\u00e2ndu-\u0219i propria via\u021b\u0103 \u00een pericol de dragul altcuiva) \u0219i &#8230; principii morale (toate omorurile comise fiind, descoperim uimi\u021bi, rezultatele unei necesit\u0103\u021bi de a \u00ee\u0219i ap\u0103ra via\u021ba, r\u0103spuns \u2013 brutal, dar justificat m\u0103car \u00eentr-o oarecare m\u0103sur\u0103 \u2013 la imediate ori iminente agresiuni \u00eendreptate \u00eempotriva sa); astfel, \u201einterlopul\u201d \u00een cauz\u0103 se arat\u0103 categoric superior eroinei, fiind un \u201einfractor de nevoie\u201d, \u00een vreme ce aceasta din urm\u0103 s-a l\u0103sat atras\u0103 \u00een activit\u0103\u021bi infrac\u021bionale \u00een c\u0103utarea \u201edivertismentului\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Privit\u0103 \u00een ansamblu, trama este credibil\u0103 \u2013 pu\u021bin prea dramatic\u0103 pentru plaiurile noastre, dar autorul are scuza c\u0103 infractorii s\u0103i sunt, majoritatea, \u201e\u0219coli\u021bi afar\u0103\u201d. Ici, colo, descoperim unele episoade care nu prea conving, nici unul \u00eens\u0103 at\u00e2t de important \u00eenc\u00e2t s\u0103 diminueze pl\u0103cerea lecturii. Deznod\u0103m\u00e2ntul include un moment fantastic, dar avem toate motivele s\u0103 credem c\u0103 este vorba despre un simplu efect stilistic care nu are drept scop atribuirea unei dimensiuni supranaturale \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103rilor narate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Registrul lingvistic este neologic-jargonic-argotic (pe alocuri, retoric), autorul utiliz\u00e2nd cu pricepere stilul indirect liber. \u00cen c\u00e2teva r\u00e2nduri, scriitura alunec\u0103 \u00een trivial (nu de fiecare dat\u0103 \u00een mod justificat); alteori, \u00eens\u0103, A. \u0218tef\u0103nescu apeleaz\u0103 la inspirate tehnici literare, reu\u0219ind s\u0103 reduc\u0103 limbajul licen\u021bios sau s\u0103 \u00eei diminueze efectele: de pild\u0103, include \u00een dialog unele injurii \u00een limba rus\u0103, explic\u00e2nd \u00eentr-o not\u0103 de subsol c\u0103 expresiile \u201ecolorate\u201d nu necesit\u0103 traducere, \u00een\u021belesul respectivelor fraze put\u00e2ndu-se cu u\u0219urin\u021b\u0103 deduce din context (de altfel, autorul este un bun cunosc\u0103tor al tehnicilor literare: spre exemplu, introduce \u00een nara\u021biune, \u00eentr-un mod ingenios, ludic, un exemplu practic al faimoasei reguli \u201ePistolul lui Cehov\u201d). Prin excep\u021bie, unele expresii \u0219i unii termeni nu corespund ultimei mode (o referin\u021b\u0103 la \u201eCharlot\u201d, termenul \u201egroggy\u201d etc.), \u00een general, \u00eens\u0103, fiind redat corect limbajul bucure\u0219tean actual.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stilul individual al autorului este unul \u201eaerisit\u201d, f\u0103r\u0103 a fi minimalist: figurile de stil prezente \u00een text sunt alese \u0219i distribuite cu grij\u0103 pentru a nu afecta dinamismul cinematografic al dialogurilor \u0219i al ac\u021biunii.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tomul are o copert\u0103 plastifiat\u0103 lucioas\u0103, prev\u0103zut\u0103 cu clapete \u0219i ilustrat\u0103 adecvat. Tip\u0103rit pe h\u00e2rtie alb\u0103, de calitate superioar\u0103, rezistent\u0103 \u00een timp, este atent corectat (singura eroare remarcat\u0103 putea fi evitat\u0103 prin utilizarea instrumentelor de corectare oferite de logicialul Microsoft Office Word) \u0219i bine tehnoredactat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Concluzion\u00e2nd, avem de a face cu o carte ap\u0103rut\u0103 \u00een bune condi\u021bii editoriale \u2013 un debut matur \u2013, bine scris\u0103 \u0219i, \u00een ciuda a ceea ce s-ar putea crede ini\u021bial, nu lipsit\u0103 de mesaj moral (inclusiv titlul relev\u00e2nd un avertisment \u00een acest sens, referitor la ce se poate ascunde \u201edincolo de farmec\u201d).
