Astfel, c\u0103l\u0103toria sufletului dup\u0103 moarte cap\u0103t\u0103 o alt\u0103 dimensiune la gnostici dec\u00e2t la cre\u0219tini, iar \u00eentre gnostic \u0219i Dumnezeul lui nu mai exist\u0103 nimeni, pentru c\u0103 Zeul lui se g\u0103se\u0219te \u00een orice fiin\u021b\u0103 \u0219i, \u00een acela\u0219i fel, fiecare fiin\u021b\u0103 se reg\u0103se\u0219te \u00een Zeu de \u00eendat\u0103 ce se \u00eendreapt\u0103 spre el<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00cen scrierile gnosticilor, spiritul este o hain\u0103 pe care sufletul o \u00eembrac\u0103 pentru a putea lua trupul \u00een st\u0103p\u00e2nire \u0219i face asta din cauza naturii diferite a celor dou\u0103. \u00cen <em>Iter in Silvis<\/em>, Culianu explic\u0103 acest lucru folosind defini\u021bia lui Marsilio Ficino din <em>Theologia platonica<\/em>, \u00een care sufletul, av\u00e2nd \u00een vedere natura lui extrem de pur\u0103, nu se poate cupla la trupul dens \u0219i p\u0103m\u00e2ntesc dec\u00e2t cu ajutorul unui corpuscul foarte subtil \u0219i luminos numit spirit<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>. O dat\u0103 cu moartea trupului, sufletul se desparte de acesta \u0219i de \u00eenveli\u0219ul lui spiritual \u0219i se \u00eenal\u021b\u0103 printre sferele planetare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Scrierile gnostice nu se adreseaz\u0103 oricui, adic\u0103 celor supu\u0219i pornirilor trupe\u0219ti, ci ini\u021bia\u021bilor, acelor fiin\u021be \u00eenzestrate cu inteligen\u021b\u0103, care s-au desprins prin abstinen\u021b\u0103 de leg\u0103turile pe care lumea le creeaz\u0103 pentru a-i \u021bine lega\u021bi. Deci, doar cei care-\u0219i cultiv\u0103 spiritul \u00een defavoarea trupului pot ajunge la Dumnezeu, fiindc\u0103 acesta nu poate fi perceput cu ajutorul sim\u021burile, ci doar cunoscut prin dezvoltarea con\u0219tiin\u021bei interioare. Omul natural, cel ce nu posed\u0103 cunoa\u0219tere, agnosticul, nu va ajunge niciodat\u0103 s\u0103 \u00eei cunoasc\u0103 natura. \u021ainta gnosticilor \u00eens\u0103, ca oameni ce vor s\u0103 se apropie de cunoa\u0219terea divin\u0103, este puritatea \u0219i iubirea total\u0103. Cu c\u00e2t sunt mai puri, cu at\u00e2t sunt mai apropia\u021bi de cunoa\u0219tere. Doar cei puri vor rela\u021biona cu sufletul lor \u00een a\u0219a m\u0103sur\u0103, \u00eenc\u00e2t acesta le va revela cuno\u0219tin\u021bele trecute \u0219i \u00eei va face asemenea lui Dumnezeu, d\u00e2ndu-le astfel via\u021ba ve\u0219nic\u0103. A\u0219a apare, de exemplu, \u00een <em>Corpus Hermeticum<\/em>, <em>Poimandres<\/em>, imaginea P\u0103storului oamenilor: \u201eeu sunt acea Lumin\u0103, Mintea, Zeul t\u0103u; eu, care sunt mai \u00eenainte de acea natur\u0103 umed\u0103 ce s-a ivit din \u00eentuneric, iar acel Cuv\u00e2nt sc\u00e2nteietor \u0219i luminos ie\u0219it din minte este Fiul Zeului.\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cei ne\u0219tiutori vor suferi \u00eens\u0103 chinurile Lumii Celeilalte, iar nemurirea le va fi refuzat\u0103, chiar dac\u0103 au \u0219i ei, la fel ca to\u021bi ceilal\u021bi, ceva din natura Omului Primordial, a androginului care \u0219i-a privit fa\u021ba \u00een oglinda apei \u0219i i s-a p\u0103rut c\u0103 este at\u00e2t de frumos, \u00eenc\u00e2t a r\u0103mas prins \u00een capcana materiei<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a>. Scopul final al \u00een\u0103l\u021b\u0103rii sufletului este, \u00een cele din urm\u0103, \u00eentoarcerea acestuia la origini, dincolo de sfera stelelor fixe, unde se afl\u0103 fiin\u021bele pneumatice, pure, \u0219i Divinitatea suprem\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Se creeaz\u0103 astfel o nou\u0103 istorie ce se suprapune la un moment dat peste cea cre\u0219tin\u0103, care cunoa\u0219te timpul doar \u00een forma lui liniar\u0103, av\u00e2nd la un cap\u0103t Geneza, iar la cel\u0103lalt Apocalipsa. Timpul gnosticilor este circular, repetitiv, f\u0103r\u0103 \u00eenceput \u0219i f\u0103r\u0103 sf\u00e2r\u0219it, ca imensul dragon care \u00ee\u0219i mu\u0219c\u0103 coada, \u00eenconjur\u00e2nd lumea \u00eentreag\u0103. Pentru gnostici nimic nu este nou, fiecare om a mai tr\u0103it o dat\u0103 \u0219i va mai tr\u0103i pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce cercul timpului se va re\u00eentoarce. Opun\u00e2ndu-se acestui timp infinit \u00een cartea a XII-lea din <em>Cetatea lui Dumnezeu<\/em>, Augustin strig\u0103: <em>falsi circuli, falsi circulus, <\/em>\u0219i le opune <em>rectum iter, recta via<\/em>, sus\u021bin\u00e2nd c\u0103 venirea lui Isus Christos a rupt cercul repeti\u021biilor, impun\u00e2nd lumii o alt\u0103 destina\u021bie. Gnosticii neag\u0103 toate acestea, consider\u00e2nd c\u0103 poart\u0103 \u00een ei Zeul, iar m\u00e2ntuirea st\u0103 doar \u00een puterea lor de a se purifica, de a se face de neatins, de a influen\u021ba, dar \u0219i de a nu se l\u0103sa influen\u021ba\u021bi<a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tot Augustin, comb\u0103t\u00e2ndu-i de data aceasta pe Platon \u0219i pe Porphyrios, c\u00e2nd scriu despre reiterarea sufletului \u0219i re\u00eencarnare, se \u00eentreab\u0103 retoric de ce sufletele trebuie s\u0103 se \u00eentoarc\u0103 pe p\u0103m\u00e2nt \u0219i s\u0103 intre \u00een alte corpuri, unele chiar \u0219i nedemne, ale vie\u021buitoarelor inferioare. Gnosticii nu pot \u00eens\u0103 s\u0103 accepte c\u0103 trupul va disp\u0103rea, iar sufletul va r\u0103m\u00e2ne s\u0103 se bucure de fericire \u00een preajma lui Dumnezeu, ci \u00eel for\u021beaz\u0103 pe acesta din urm\u0103 s\u0103 parcurg\u0103 de mai multe ori un drum ce nu pare s\u0103 \u00eei aduc\u0103 drept beneficiu suprem eliberarea de dorin\u021be, dec\u00e2t \u00een mic\u0103 m\u0103sur\u0103 \u0219i pentru un num\u0103r redus de suflete alese<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00centre momentul mor\u021bii \u0219i re\u00eentrupare, gnosticul parcurge sferele planetelor, primind de la ele multe atribute pozitive, dar \u0219i negative, atribute pe care apoi le \u00eenapoiaz\u0103 c\u00e2nd sufletul urc\u0103 din nou spre cercul Divinit\u0103\u021bii Supreme. Pentru a reu\u0219i s\u0103 treac\u0103 de cercurile celor \u0219apte planete, considerate Soarele, Luna, Mercur, Jupiter, Marte, Venus \u0219i Saturn, gnosticul trebuie s\u0103 cunoasc\u0103 formulele care s\u0103 desferece por\u021bile celor \u0219apte Arhon\u021bi (spirite) ai acestora.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dup\u0103 moarte, sufletul este condus de c\u0103tre Primitori \u0219i judecat de c\u0103tre Fecioara de Lumin\u0103, care, dac\u0103 \u00eel consider\u0103 nevrednic, \u00eel trimite prin groaznicele genuni din interiorul dragonului care \u00ee\u0219i \u00eenghite coada. Acolo trece prin torturile celor doisprezece demoni cu capete de animale. Dac\u0103 este considerat vrednic, sufletul se \u00een\u0103l\u021b\u0103 prin cele \u0219apte planete, trece de Arhon\u021bi \u0219i ajunge la zona stelelor fixe, dincolo de care va contempla fiin\u021bele pneumatice, fiin\u021bele pure, \u0219i fa\u021ba Divinit\u0103\u021bii Supreme. Prin urmare, sufletul se desprinde de tot ce era corporal, de nevoia de a m\u00e2nca, a bea, a iubi, de toate celelalte sentimente care l-au animat \u00een via\u021b\u0103, iar acestea dispar \u00een neant, a\u0219a c\u0103 sufletul se \u00eenal\u021b\u0103 \u0219i trece prin cercurile guvernate de Arhon\u021bii planetelor. Sufletul las\u0103 \u00eens\u0103 \u00een fiecare c\u00e2te ceva: \u00een primul, capacitatea sa de a cre\u0219te \u0219i descre\u0219te, \u00een al doilea, viclenia, \u00een al treilea, dorin\u021ba, \u00een al patrulea, ambi\u021biile m\u0103ririi, \u00een al cincilea, puterea de afirmare temerar\u0103 sau nelegiuit\u0103, \u00een al \u0219aselea, foamea de bog\u0103\u021bie, \u00een al \u0219aptelea, capacitatea de a min\u021bi, \u0219i astfel, cur\u0103\u021bat\u0103 de cele \u0219apte \u00eenveli\u0219uri ale lui <em>psyche<\/em>, r\u0103m\u00e2ne doar partea cea mai pur\u0103, <em>pneuma<\/em>, care se \u00eenalt\u0103 \u00een al optulea cerc, unde \u00eent\u00e2lne\u0219te suflete asemenea ei, ce vor urca spre Tat\u0103l, scopul lor unic fiind de a se uni cu Dumnezeu<a href=\"#_ftn7\" name=\"_ftnref7\">[7]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lumea cealalt\u0103 \u00een cosmologia gnostic\u0103 este guvernat\u0103 de Mintea-Zeu, ce \u00eentruchipeaz\u0103 <em>Via\u021ba<\/em> \u0219i <em>Lumina<\/em>. Aceasta a modelat \u00eens\u0103 o alt\u0103 Minte, care s\u0103 se ocupe de forma lucrurilor \u0219i care, fiind st\u0103p\u00e2nitoarea focului \u0219i spiritului, a creat \u0219apte guvernatori, ocup\u00e2nd \u0219apte cercuri \u0219i st\u0103p\u00e2nind destinul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <em>\u00cens\u0103 Mintea Formativ\u0103, [unit\u0103] cu Cuv\u00e2ntul ce cuprinde sferele \u015fi le \u00eenv\u00e2rte cu roata sa, a \u00eentors propriile sale lucr\u0103ri \u015fi le-a f\u0103cut s\u0103 se roteasc\u0103 de la un \u00eenceput nedefinit c\u0103tre un sf\u00e2r\u0219it nedeterminabil, c\u0103ci rota\u021bia acestor [sfere] \u00eentotdeauna \u00eencepe acolo unde se sf\u00e2r\u0219e\u0219te, dup\u0103 voia Min\u021bii.<a href=\"#_ftn8\" name=\"_ftnref8\"><strong>[8]<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Din aceast\u0103 rotire a sferelor au ap\u0103rut elementele: aerul, apa, p\u0103m\u00e2ntul \u0219i focul, care au z\u0103mislit fiecare vie\u021buitoare lipsite de ra\u021biune cum ar fi p\u0103s\u0103rile, pe\u0219tii \u0219i animalele. Mintea, tat\u0103l tuturor lucrurilor, a z\u0103mislit omul dup\u0103 chipul \u0219i asem\u0103narea lui, d\u00e2ndu-i \u00een st\u0103p\u00e2nire toate celelalte f\u0103pturi f\u0103r\u0103 ra\u021biune, ca unul care are \u00een el \u0219i lucr\u0103rile celor \u0219apte guvernatori \u0219i forma Zeului. De aceea, gnosticii cred c\u0103 omul are o dubl\u0103 natur\u0103, cea muritoare, a trupului, \u0219i cea nemuritoare, provenit\u0103 de la Zeu, care \u00eei crease din <em>Via\u0163\u0103<\/em> \u2013 \u00a0sufletul, iar din <em>Lumin\u0103<\/em> \u2013 \u00a0mintea. Corpul material con\u021bine \u00eens\u0103 \u00een el \u00eentunericul, din care este alc\u0103tuit\u0103 \u0219i natura umed\u0103 ce intr\u0103 la r\u00e2ndul ei \u00een componen\u021ba trupului din lumea sensibil\u0103 \u00een care adast\u0103 moartea. <em>Mintea<\/em> este cea care va veni la oamenii care duc o via\u021b\u0103 curat\u0103, \u00eendemn\u00e2ndu-i s\u0103-\u0219i continue drumul, pe c\u00e2nd ceilal\u021bi vor fi l\u0103sa\u021bi pe seama Demonului Pedepselor care la r\u00e2ndul lui se va folosi de foc pentru a a\u021b\u00e2\u021ba \u0219i mai tare sim\u021burile \u0219i poftele celor nevrednici \u0219i a le ob\u021bine o pedeaps\u0103 c\u00e2t mai mare dup\u0103 moarte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Deci, corpul lipsit de via\u021b\u0103 este supus prefacerii, iar dorin\u021bele lui se scufund\u0103 \u00een natura lipsit\u0103 de ra\u021biune. Sufletul celui drept se ridic\u0103 prin cele \u0219apte cercuri, l\u0103s\u00e2nd arhon\u021bilor acestora darurile primite la cobor\u00e2rea prin sfere, apoi ajunge \u00een a opta Natur\u0103, unde poate deja s\u0103 vad\u0103 puterile aflate dincolo de ea \u0219i care \u00eel pream\u0103resc pe Zeu, scopul ultim al celor care au dob\u00e2ndit cunoa\u0219terea, al gnosticilor, fiind cel de deveni una cu Zeul.<a href=\"#_ftn9\" name=\"_ftnref9\">[9]<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <em>\u00cens\u0103 sufletul din om &#8211; dar nu orice suflet, ci numai acela care este credincios &#8211; este un ceva daimonic \u0219i divin. Iar un asemenea suflet, c\u00e2nd pleac\u0103 din trup, dup\u0103\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ce se va fi luptat pentru credin\u021b\u0103 &#8211; care este aceea de a-1cunoa\u015fte pe Zeu \u015fi de a nu face r\u0103u oamenilor \u2013 devine minte \u00eentru totul. \u00cens\u0103 sufletul necredincios r\u0103m\u00e2ne \u00een propria lui esen\u021b\u0103, pedepsit de el \u00eensu\u0219i \u0219i c\u0103ut\u00e2nd un trup p\u0103m\u00e2ntesc \u0219i\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 omenesc \u00een care s\u0103 intre. C\u0103ci nici un alt trup nu poate primi un suflet omenesc, \u0219i nici nu este legiuit ca sufletul unui om s\u0103 decad\u0103 \u00een trupul unei viet\u0103\u021bi lipsite de ra\u021biune. C\u0103ci exist\u0103, legea Zeului ca sufletul omenesc s\u0103 fie ferit de o \u00eenjosire at\u00e2t de mare.<a href=\"#_ftn10\" name=\"_ftnref10\"><strong>[10]<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mi\u0219carea ascendent\u0103 \u0219i descendent\u0103 a sufletului dup\u0103 moarte, c\u00e2t \u0219i panteonul lumii celelalte, cunosc modific\u0103ri importante pornind de primii gnostici \u0219i \u00eencheind cu cei care devin contemporani religiei cre\u0219tine cu care \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103-\u0219i \u00eempace propria filosofie. \u00cen cadrul acestei istorii, ce adun\u0103 influen\u021be at\u00e2t de diverse, Culianu consider\u0103 c\u0103 pogor\u00e2rea sufletului prin sfere \u0219i dob\u00e2ndirea de c\u0103tre acesta a unor atribute pozitive sau negative, oferite de arhon\u021bi, justific\u0103 \u0219i alte \u201eopera\u021biuni fantasmagorice\u201d printre care erosul, visul \u0219i magia<a href=\"#_ftn11\" name=\"_ftnref11\">[11]<\/a>, deschiz\u00e2nd astfel o poart\u0103 spre un domeniu de studiu \u0219i mai vast ce va include, printre altele, astrologia \u0219i alchimia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> H.
