Arania, 2000; Ed. Vremea, 2005).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Av\u00e2nd \u00een vedere faptul c\u0103 lectura \u00een cauz\u0103 a fost una pl\u0103cut\u0103, am decis s\u0103 ne \u00eendrept\u0103m aten\u021bia \u0219i asupra altor texte semnate de prolificul autor.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Carte de magie <\/em><\/strong>(Ed. Arania, 2001; Ed. Vremea, 2005) apar\u021bine stilului func\u0163ional beletristic, genului literar epic, speciei literare (din punct de vedere formal) a colectaneului de proz\u0103 scurt\u0103 (la fel ca predecesorul s\u0103u).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Din punct de vedere al curentului literar, al speciei literare tematice \u0219i al subspeciei literare aferente, are \u00eens\u0103 un caracter eteroclit \u2013 cuprinz\u00e2nd povestiri \u0219i schi\u021be romantice, decadentiste, realist-halucinatorii, fabuliste ori speculativiste, respectiv gotice fantastice ori gotice macabre, fantastice \u00eentunecate ori fantastice histrionice, sau chiar neofantastice. [1]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ne vom opri, \u00een continuare, pentru scurt\u0103 vreme (\u0219i f\u0103r\u0103 a mai intra \u00een detalii de natur\u0103 teoretic\u0103), asupra c\u00e2torva proze-reper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prima nara\u021biune este intitulat\u0103 chiar <em>Carte de magie<\/em> \u0219i se remarc\u0103 prin faptul c\u0103 autorul respect\u0103 fondul legendar din care s-a inspirat, prezent\u00e2ndu-ne un inamic supranatural pe care str\u0103mo\u0219ii no\u0219tri l-ar fi socotit, f\u0103r\u0103 \u00eendoial\u0103, verosimil \u2013 \u0219i nu o f\u0103c\u0103tur\u0103 ridicol\u0103, pretins\u0103, cu naivitate, de c\u0103tre creatorul ei, ca fiind o \u201ereinterpretare\u201d (cum \u00eent\u00e2lnim, din p\u0103cate at\u00e2t de des, la al\u021bi scriitori contemporani[2]):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201eDup\u0103 un timp am v\u0103zut c\u0103, de fapt, nu f\u0103cea \u00eentotdeauna ceea ce a\u015f fi vrut s\u0103 fac\u0103\u2026 \u00cen loc ca for\u0163a pe care eu o eliberasem s\u0103 fie sclava mea, s\u0103 m\u0103 asculte orbe\u015fte, \u00eencetul cu \u00eencetul am v\u0103zut c\u0103 avea o voin\u0163\u0103 a ei, c\u0103 uneori f\u0103cea ceea ce \u00eei ceream \u00een felul ei. Era ca un copil r\u0103zg\u00e2iat\u2026 \u00eenclinat s\u0103 fac\u0103 mai mult lucruri rele, a\u015fa, din pura pl\u0103cere de a face r\u0103u\u2026 [&#8230;] dac\u0103 \u00eemi doresc foarte mult s\u0103 fac un bine, s\u0103 vindec o boal\u0103, s\u0103 \u00eempiedic un accident, duhul pe care l-am invocat parc\u0103 nici nu ar exista\u2026 Nu este interesat dec\u00e2t de aspectele superficiale \u015fi g\u0103l\u0103gioase ale vie\u0163ii\u2026 ca un copil mic care are un ciocan \u00een m\u00e2n\u0103 \u015fi c\u0103ruia i se pare c\u0103 toate obiectele din jur sunt cuie pe care el trebuie s\u0103 le loveasc\u0103\u2026\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Din multe puncte de vedere asem\u0103n\u0103toare acestei proze de deschidere este <em>Ritual de trecere<\/em>, put\u00e2ndu-i fi considerat text-pereche \u2013 cu adaos lovecraftian \u00eens\u0103 (amintind de <em>Chemarea lui Cthulhu<\/em> \u2013 H.P. Lovecraft, <em>The Call of Cthulhu<\/em>, 1928) \u0219i cu un personaj feminin mult mai pu\u021bin inocent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen <em>Adio Efida<\/em>[3] \u2013 practic, o replic\u0103 literar\u0103 (comic\u0103) dat\u0103 <em>Codului Bibliei<\/em> (<em>The Bible Code<\/em>; M. Drosnin, 1997) \u2013, protagonistului \u00eei este dezv\u0103luit\u0103 cheia unui ingenios cifru de origine (se pare) divin\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Pesc\u0103ru\u0219ul<\/em> se deosebe\u0219te de precedentele nara\u021biuni prin absen\u021ba oric\u0103ror elemente fantastice, \u00eenlocuite, \u00eens\u0103, \u00een mod inspirat[4], cu o \u00eentors\u0103tur\u0103 de situa\u021bie macabr\u0103 \u0219i, categoric, r\u0103scolitoare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Rafael<\/em> te duce cu g\u00e2ndul, \u00een acela\u0219i timp, la <em>Frumoasa \u0219i Bestia<\/em> (<em>La Belle et la B\u00eate<\/em>; G.-S.B. de Villeneuve, 1740), la <em>Notre-Dame de Paris. 1482<\/em> (V. Hugo, 1831) \u0219i la <em>Numele trandafirului<\/em> (<em>Il nome della rosa<\/em>; U. Eco, 1980), diferen\u021biindu-se, totu\u0219i, semnificativ de acestea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Legend\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 sf\u00e2r\u0219it<\/em> este o frumoas\u0103 \u0219i moralizatoare[5] povestire (situat\u0103 la grani\u021ba cu basmul cult) despre c\u0103utarea obsesiv-distructiv\u0103 a unei nestemate magice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen <em>O clip\u0103 de nemurire<\/em>, un bog\u0103ta\u0219 lipsit de scrupule achizi\u021bioneaz\u0103, de la o lamaserie, un elixir ale c\u0103rui efecte nu sunt tocmai acelea sperate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen <em>Vizit\u0103 de lucru<\/em>, un b\u0103tr\u00e2n profesor caut\u0103 s\u0103 dezlege misterul religiei hunilor \u2013 ajung\u00e2nd s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i regrete amarnic pasiunea pentru cercetarea istoric\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Subiectul <em>N\u0103scocirii<\/em> este inventarea unui \u201eperpetuum mobile\u201d; premiza \u0219i intriga sunt deosebit de interesante, dar deznod\u0103m\u00e2ntul necesit\u0103 \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021biri (poate cu ocazia viitoarei reedit\u0103ri) pentru a fi pe m\u0103sura acestora.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Lucrare de diplom\u0103 <\/em>abordeaz\u0103, \u00eentr-o manier\u0103 comic\u0103, motivul literar al pactului faustian.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Comic\u0103 este \u0219i proza de \u00eencheiere, \u00een care un cet\u0103\u021bean iresponsabil devine protestatar f\u0103r\u0103 voie \u2013 \u00eenainte de a(-l) lua <em>Tramvaiul<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dup\u0103 cum credem c\u0103 se poate, cu u\u0219urin\u021b\u0103, intui, colectaneul lui S. Some\u0219an ofer\u0103, \u00een fapt, cititorului aceea\u0219i experien\u021b\u0103 pe care seriale de televiziune[6] precum <em>Zona crepuscular\u0103<\/em> (<em>The Twilight Zone<\/em>, 1959-1964, 1985-1989, 2002-2003, 2019-2020), <em>Povestiri din cript\u0103<\/em> (<em>Tales from the Crypt<\/em>, 1989-1996) ori <em>Povestiri din \u00eentuneric<\/em> (<em>Tales from the Darkside<\/em>, 1983-1988) o asigur\u0103 telespectatorului.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C\u00e2teva cuvinte, \u00een \u00eencheiere, despre stilul individual al autorului: simplu, direct (totodat\u0103, pl\u0103cut, \u00eengrijit, dinamic), la fel ca \u00een <em>S\u0103 n-o s\u0103ru\u021bi pe Isabel<\/em> \u2013 incluz\u00e2nd, \u00eens\u0103, acum, mai multe momente\/episoade cu caracter ornamental (e.g.: fragmentul de deschidere din <em>Cartea de magie<\/em>, demonstra\u021bia numerologic\u0103 din <em>Adio Efida<\/em>, considerentele istorice a\u0219ternute pe h\u00e2rtie de b\u0103tr\u00e2nul profesor \u0219i via\u021ba acestuia \u00een decorul pitoresc al or\u0103\u0219elului din <em>Vizit\u0103 de lucru<\/em>, \u00eentreaga <em>Legend\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 sf\u00e2r\u0219it<\/em> \u0219i \u00eentregul <em>Rafael<\/em> etc.), care constituie incontestabil\u0103 plusvaloare din punct de vedere beletristic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">#<em>Note<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[1] Pentru speciile \u0219i subspeciile literaturii fantastice, a se vedea O.
