Arania, 2000; Ed. Vremea, 2005 <a href=\"https:\/\/egophobia.ro\/?p=14414\">https:\/\/egophobia.ro\/?p=14414<\/a>);<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2013 <em>Carte de magie <\/em>(Ed. Arania, 2001; Ed. Vremea, 2005 <a href=\"https:\/\/egophobia.ro\/?p=14472\">https:\/\/egophobia.ro\/?p=14472<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Av\u00e2nd \u00een vedere faptul c\u0103 lecturile \u00een cauz\u0103 au fost pl\u0103cute, am decis s\u0103 ne \u00eendrept\u0103m aten\u021bia \u0219i asupra altor texte semnate de prolificul autor.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dup\u0103 cum ne a\u0219teptam (\u0219i speram), al treilea[1] colectaneu de proz\u0103 scurt\u0103, intitulat <strong><em>Aproape \u00eengeri<\/em> <\/strong>(Ed. Cartea Rom\u00e2neasc\u0103, 2004; Ed. Vremea, 2005), se men\u021bine, din punct de vedere al teoriei literare, \u00eentre acelea\u0219i[2] coordonate ca predecesoarele, continu\u00e2nd, totodat\u0103, s\u0103 ofere cititorului (prin intrigile oscil\u00e2nd \u00eentre mister supranatural \u0219i fantezie pur\u0103 \u0219i prin deznod\u0103mintele incluz\u00e2nd, ca regul\u0103, r\u0103sturnarea de situa\u021bie) aceea\u0219i experien\u021b\u0103 pe care seriale de televiziune precum <em>Zona crepuscular\u0103<\/em> o asigur\u0103 telespectatorului.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La fel ca \u00een cazul <em>C\u0103r\u021bii de magie<\/em>, prima nara\u021biune, <em>Aproape \u00eengeri<\/em>, d\u0103 \u0219i titlul colectaneului. Tot ca \u00een cazul <em>C\u0103r\u021bii &#8230;<\/em>, prozei de deschidere \u00eei descoperim, cu u\u0219urin\u021b\u0103, un text-pereche, anume <em>Poiana \u00eengerilor<\/em> \u2013 \u00eent\u00e2lnind, \u0219i de data aceasta, o diferen\u021b\u0103 semnificativ\u0103 \u00een privin\u021ba protagoni\u0219tilor: supranaturalul nu \u00ee\u0219i mai abate suflul asupra unui paznic-erou, ci asupra a doi t\u00e2lhari (din care unul lipsit de orice fel de scrupule).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Fata de pe malul m\u0103rii <\/em>[3] este o povestire fantastic\u0103 histrionic\u0103 vir\u00e2nd, f\u0103r\u0103 explica\u021bie, p\u00e2n\u0103 la absurd \u2013 motiv pentru care se situeaz\u0103 sub nivelul calitativ cu care ne-a obi\u0219nuit autorul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Cel din urm\u0103 unicorn <\/em>[4] las\u0103 impresia unei continu\u0103ri a mai vechii <em>Rafael<\/em> (men\u021bion\u00e2ndu-i, \u00een treac\u0103t, c\u00e2teva personaje). Arti\u0219tii de circ \u0219i \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103rile supranaturale \u00ee\u0219i g\u0103sesc un loc firesc \u00een decorul de tragedie gotico-exotic\u0103, care ar putea fi exploatat, cu mult succes, \u0219i prin intermediul altor proze, scurte ori (chiar mai bine!) ample (nuvele ori romane), cu condi\u021bia \u2013 esen\u021bial\u0103 \u2013 ca S. Some\u0219an s\u0103 continue s\u0103 utilizeze, pentru crea\u021biile respective, un penel \u00eembibat \u00een melancolie artistic\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Merele Evei<\/em> ne poart\u0103 g\u00e2ndul, \u00eentr-o oarecare m\u0103sur\u0103, spre <em>\u00cenainte de Adam<\/em> (<em>Before Adam<\/em>; J. London, 1906-1907). Povestirea cocheteaz\u0103 cu primitivismul naturalist, dar apar\u021bine, \u00een fapt, curentului literar al speculativismului \u0219i subspeciei literare a \u0219tiin\u021bifico-fantasticului alternativist, propun\u00e2nd o posibil\u0103 explica\u021bie ra\u021bional\u0103 pentru apari\u021bia mitului indicat \u00een titlu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Ceara pierdut\u0103 <\/em>\u2013 posibil, un (demn de apreciere) omagiu adus scriitorilor romantici germani, \u00een general, \u0219i lui E. T. A. Hoffmann, \u00een special \u2013 \u00eel poart\u0103 pe cititor pe t\u0103r\u00e2mul umbros al ocultismului alchimic. <em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C\u00e2teva cuvinte, \u00een \u00eencheiere, despre stilul individual al autorului: dac\u0103 \u00een <em>S\u0103 n-o s\u0103ru\u021bi pe Isabel<\/em> \u0219i \u00een bun\u0103 parte din <em>Cartea de magie<\/em> era, ca regul\u0103, simplu, direct (totodat\u0103, \u00eens\u0103, pl\u0103cut, \u00eengrijit, dinamic), ponderea categoriei estetice a poeticului cre\u0219te \u00een mod remarcabil \u00een scrierile care alc\u0103tuiesc <em>Aproape \u00eengeri<\/em> \u2013 ajung\u00e2nd la predominan\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>#Note<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[1] Nu punem la socoteal\u0103 <em>Cadouri de Cr\u0103ciun<\/em> (Ed. Karmat Press, 2003), care cuprinde mai multe texte culese din <em>&#8230; Isabel<\/em> \u0219i din <em>Carte &#8230;<\/em> \u0219i un singur text suplimentar \u2013 acesta din urm\u0103 d\u00e2nd titlul compila\u021biei, dar put\u00e2nd fi considerat a \u00ee\u0219i avea locul, \u00een fapt (dup\u0103 cum vom ar\u0103ta cu alt\u0103 ocazie), \u00een <em>Num\u0103rul Fiarei<\/em> (Ed. Vremea, 2004).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[2] Prin urmare, ar fi superfluu s\u0103 le relu\u0103m \u0219i \u00een prezenta cronic\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trebuie s\u0103 men\u021bion\u0103m, \u00eens\u0103, o excep\u021bie: <em>Miturile esen\u021biale<\/em> este o satir\u0103 socio-cultural\u0103, viz\u00e2nd via\u021ba de zi cu zi a rom\u00e2nului contemporan \u0219i apar\u021bin\u00e2nd, prin urmare, curentului literar realist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[3] <em>Fata de pe malul m\u0103rii<\/em> este plasat\u0103, \u00een cuprinsul colectaneului, \u00eenaintea <em>Poienii \u00eengerilor<\/em>, dar, \u00een vederea realiz\u0103rii unei prezent\u0103ri sistematice, am preferat s\u0103 abord\u0103m <em>Poiana ..<\/em>. \u00eenaintea <em>Fetei &#8230; <\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[4] <em>V\u00e2n\u0103toarea unicornului<\/em> ar fi fost, probabil, un titlu mai potrivit, din mai multe puncte de vedere \u2013 de pild\u0103, pentru a se delimita de <em>Ultima licorn\u0103<\/em> (<em>The Last Unicorn<\/em>; P.S. Beagle, 1968), cu care \u00eemparte doar unele asem\u0103n\u0103ri stilistice, intriga apropiindu-se, mai degrab\u0103 (f\u0103r\u0103 a \u00ee\u0219i pierde, \u00eens\u0103, individualitatea) de aceea a filmului artistic <em>Omul de r\u0103chit\u0103<\/em> (<em>The Wicker Man<\/em>; R.
