Arania, 2000; Ed. Vremea, 2005);<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/egophobia.ro\/?p=14472\"><em>Carte de magie <\/em><\/a>(Ed. Arania, 2001; Ed. Vremea, 2005);<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/egophobia.ro\/?p=14495\"><em>Aproape \u00eengeri<\/em><\/a> (Ed. Cartea Rom\u00e2neasc\u0103, 2004; Ed. Vremea, 2004).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dup\u0103 aceast\u0103 prim\u0103 etap\u0103 de crea\u021bie \u00eenchinat\u0103 (cu succes) speciilor literare mai sus men\u021bionate, S. Some\u0219an a f\u0103cut o pauz\u0103 destul de lung\u0103 \u2013 din fericire, nu una definitiv\u0103, \u0219i nici una care s\u0103 fi d\u0103unat, \u00een vreun fel, stilului individual al scriitorului ori abilit\u0103\u021bii sale de a scorni intrigi diverse, de natur\u0103 speculativist\u0103 (\u201eCe ar fi dac\u0103 &#8230; ?\u201d):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>\u00cent\u00e2lnire cu dragonul<\/em><\/strong> (Ed. Etnous, 2015) se men\u021bine, din toate punctele de vedere, \u00eentre acelea\u0219i coordonate literare ca predecesoarele.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La fel ca \u00een <em>Carte de magie<\/em>, <em>Aproape \u00eengeri<\/em> ori <em>Num\u0103rul Fiarei<\/em>, prima nara\u021biune \u2013 <em>\u00cent\u00e2lnire cu dragonul<\/em> \u2013 d\u0103 \u0219i titlul colectaneului. \u00cen ciuda impresiei ini\u021biale (create cititorului, fire\u0219te, \u00een mod deliberat), proza nu este una propriu-zis fantastic\u0103, ci una \u0219tiin\u021bifico-fantastic\u0103 \u2013 apar\u021bin\u00e2nd, concret, \u0219tiin\u021bifico-fantasticului postapocaliptic. \u00centr-o oarecare m\u0103sur\u0103, aminte\u0219te de faimoasa <em>Balaurul<\/em> (<em>The Dragon<\/em>; R. Bradbury, 1955) \u2013 nu \u00eentr-at\u00e2t, \u00eens\u0103, \u00eenc\u00e2t s\u0103 ri\u0219te a \u00ee\u0219i pierde individualitatea; con\u021bine, \u00een plus, \u0219i un admirabil mesaj pacifist. Pe de alt\u0103 parte, recomand\u0103m autorului s\u0103 elimine, cu ocazia unei viitoare reedit\u0103ri, episodul \u00een care fecioara menit\u0103 jertfei \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103 se sustrag\u0103 ritualului (aparent) magic, deoarece am \u00eent\u00e2lnit metoda aleas\u0103 de eroin\u0103 \u0219i \u00een alt\u0103 crea\u021bie a lui S. Some\u0219an (<em>Cel din urm\u0103 unicorn<\/em> \u2013 despre care am scris cu alt\u0103 ocazie).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proza care urmeaz\u0103, <em>Tigrul \u0219i privighetoarea<\/em>, ne-a atras aten\u021bia \u00een mod deosebit. Un pensionar v\u0103duv \u00eencepe, brusc, s\u0103 emane un (imposibil de ignorat) miros de smirn\u0103 \u0219i de t\u0103m\u00e2ie, descoperind, totodat\u0103, stupefiat, c\u0103 de\u021bine puterea miraculoas\u0103 de a vindeca bolnavi \u0219i r\u0103ni\u021bi \u2013 har pentru care va trebui s\u0103 pl\u0103teasc\u0103, \u00eens\u0103, un pre\u021b teribil. Dac\u0103 e\u0219ti sf\u00e2nt, se pare, trebuie s\u0103 devii \u0219i martir &#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>C\u0103pc\u0103unul \u0219i nimfomana<\/em> ar putea fi considerat\u0103 proza-pereche a <em>Tigrului &#8230;<\/em> (utilizarea prozelor-pereche \u00eei este caracteristic\u0103 autorului, conduc\u00e2nd, observ\u0103m, la rezultate demne de laud\u0103): un t\u00e2n\u0103r \u0219omer \u00ee\u0219i descoper\u0103 capacit\u0103\u021bile paranormale \u2013 \u00eens\u0103, spre deosebire de eroul la care ne-am referit \u00een anteriorul alineat, noul protagonist nu este un sf\u00e2nt ci, mai degrab\u0103, un pion al unor for\u021be malefice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Draga mea Clara<\/em> este, \u00een ansamblu, un reu\u0219it text ciberSF\/cazonSF (acest fapt ne bucur\u0103 cu at\u00e2t mai mult cu c\u00e2t scriitorii actuali abordeaz\u0103 prea rar \u0219i cu prea pu\u021bin succes \u0219tiin\u021bifico-fantasticul cibernetic), explor\u00e2nd riscurile utiliz\u0103rii unei arme c\u0103reia inventatorii (nu tocmai inspira\u021bi) i-au conferit personalitate. Nu ne putem \u00eens\u0103 ab\u021bine s\u0103 nu[2] \u00eei semnal\u0103m autorului comportamentul ataraxic al personajului (uman) feminin. Din fericire, aceasta r\u0103m\u00e2ne, totu\u0219i, o problem\u0103 minor\u0103, scurtul dialog marcat de veselia nefireasc\u0103 a iubitei protagonistului put\u00e2nd fi revizuit cu u\u0219urin\u021b\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen nara\u021biunea distopic\u0103\/paraSF <em>Pofta pre\u0219edintelui<\/em>, un tiran gurmand (\u0219i obez) \u00ee\u0219i for\u021beaz\u0103 supu\u0219ii s\u0103 c\u0103l\u0103toreasc\u0103 \u00een lumi paralele, \u00een scopul descoperirii unui soi de hran\u0103 care nu \u00eengra\u0219\u0103 deloc (oric\u00e2t de mult\u0103 ai consuma).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Schi\u021ba <em>O moarte politicoas\u0103<\/em> ne face cuno\u0219tin\u021b\u0103 cu un b\u0103tr\u00e2n profesor c\u0103ruia \u00eensu\u0219i \u00cengerul Mor\u021bii \u00eei lanseaz\u0103 o interesant\u0103 provocare. Din punct de vedere al structurii colectaneului, ni s-ar fi p\u0103rut mai potrivit s\u0103 fie plasat\u0103 \u00eentr-o sec\u021biune aparte, al\u0103turi de <em>Tigrul &#8230;<\/em> \u0219i de <em>C\u0103pc\u0103unul &#8230;<\/em> .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De asemenea interesant\u0103, dar mai dificil de etichetat (afl\u00e2ndu-se, undeva, la grani\u021ba mereu foarte fin\u0103 dintre neofantastic \u0219i paraSF) este nara\u021biunea urm\u0103toare, intitulat\u0103 <em>Pute\u021bi s\u0103-mi spune\u021bi Dumnezeu<\/em>: doi astronau\u021bi trimi\u0219i s\u0103 pun\u0103 bazele unei colonii planetare se trezesc la cheremul unei fiin\u021be misterioase \u0219i atotputernice, care pare hot\u0103r\u00e2t\u0103 s\u0103 reconstituie, cu ajutorul unor imagini extrase din min\u021bile protagoni\u0219tilor, Raiul biblic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Distopia <em>F\u0103uritorul de vise<\/em> este, practic, un (remarcabil) manifest beletristic prolibertate \u0219i prodemocra\u021bie: c\u00e2\u021biva cet\u0103\u021beni (un b\u0103tr\u00e2n profesor care citeaz\u0103 din Nicolae Steinhardt, un veteran de r\u0103zboi decorat \u0219i invalid, un fost participant la o misiune de pace \u00een Irak, o t\u00e2n\u0103r\u0103 sportiv\u0103, un t\u00e2n\u0103r care de\u021bine o hart\u0103 veche a subteranelor ora\u0219ului \u0219.a.), decid s\u0103 voteze \u00een cadrul unui referendum la a c\u0103rui boicotare autorit\u0103\u021bile vegheaz\u0103 cu arma \u00een m\u00e2n\u0103, \u0219i nimic nu le poate opri av\u00e2ntul \u2013 nici gloan\u021bele bine \u021bintite care le r\u0103resc r\u00e2ndurile, nici arestarea cert\u0103 \u00een caz de supravie\u021buire, nici \u00een\u021belegerea deplin\u0103 a faptului c\u0103 \u0219tampilarea a dou\u0103-trei buletine de vot nu are cum s\u0103 conduc\u0103 la r\u0103sturnarea regimului politic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Trebuie s\u0103 zbang tung bung <\/em>este o povestire fantastic\u0103 histrionic\u0103. Un tat\u0103 cartezian se vede pus \u00een situa\u021bia de a \u00eei demonstra feti\u021bei sale c\u0103 r\u0103s\u0103ritul Soarelui este un fenomen astronomic perfect explicabil \u00een mod \u0219tiin\u021bific \u2013 copila pretinz\u00e2nd c\u0103, dimpotriv\u0103, este vorba despre un fenomen mistic, controlat \u00een totalitate de un soi de arici (pe care l-a g\u0103sit \u00een apropierea p\u0103durii). Captur\u00e2nd presupusul arici \u0219i \u00eenchiz\u00e2ndu-l \u00eentr-o cutie, \u00een vederea demonstra\u021biei pl\u0103nuite, tat\u0103l observ\u0103 c\u0103 animalul(?) are o \u00eenf\u0103\u021bi\u0219are \u0219i un comportament neobi\u0219nuite \u2013 dar nu acord\u0103 acestui fapt (suficient\u0103) aten\u021bie. Urmarea, credem, o pute\u021bi intui&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen <em>Ultimul reportaj<\/em>, angaja\u021bii unui post de televiziune utilizeaz\u0103 un drog de origine extraterestr\u0103 pentru a c\u0103l\u0103tori \u00een Timp, fotografiind \u0219i\/sau film\u00e2nd, astfel, \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103ri \u0219i personaje istorice. Cu ocazia unui cronoreportaj realizat \u00een califatul faimosului Harun al-Rashid, personajul principal decide s\u0103 scape, pe vecie, de exasperanta \u0219i privilegiata sa partener\u0103 \u2013 netalentat\u0103, egocentrist\u0103, cu un comportament execrabil \u0219i gata oric\u00e2nd s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i aroge meritele altora, dar deosebit de frumoas\u0103 \u2013 \u0219i, prin urmare, adorat\u0103 de telespectatori \u0219i r\u0103sf\u0103\u021bat\u0103 de patroni.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poten\u021bialul ideilor \u00een jurul c\u0103rora autorul \u021bese intrigile urm\u0103toarelor dou\u0103 proze (<em>Mica mea contribu\u021bie la sf\u00e2r\u0219itul lumii<\/em> \u0219i <em>M\u00e2na care scrie cartea<\/em>) a fost, \u00een opinia noastr\u0103, epuizat (foarte probabil, \u00een \u00eentregime) \u00een cadrul unor crea\u021bii artistice anterioare, \u0219i anume \u00een povestirea <em>Oul de cristal<\/em> (<em>The Crystal Egg<\/em>; H.G. Wells, 1897), respectiv \u00een filmul serial <em>Viitorul \u00eencepe azi<\/em> (<em>Early Edition<\/em>[3], 1996-2000).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nara\u021biunea neofantastic\u0103 <em>Toc\u0103ni\u021b\u0103 de \u00eenger cu sm\u00e2nt\u00e2n\u0103<\/em> este de un macabru r\u0103scolitor, autorul egal\u00e2ndu-\u0219i sau chiar \u00eentrec\u00e2ndu-\u0219i, prin aceasta, <em>Pesc\u0103ru\u0219ul<\/em> (despre care am scris cu alt\u0103 ocazie).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen <em>Planeta ieftin\u0103<\/em>, o specie extraterestr\u0103, revoltat\u0103 de faptul c\u0103 oamenii \u00ee\u0219i distrug f\u0103r\u0103 mil\u0103 planeta, decide s\u0103 ne extermine. La prima vedere, mesajul pare a fi unul proNatur\u0103\/antiOm \u2013 adic\u0103 unul la mod\u0103 ast\u0103zi; \u00eentrebarea pe care ne-o punem, \u00eens\u0103, este cine sunt, cu adev\u0103rat, personajele negative \u2013 bipezii care au \u201einfestat\u201d Terra jinduit\u0103 (\u00een ciuda st\u0103rii jalnice \u00een care a fost adus\u0103!?&#8230;) de c\u0103tre extratere\u0219tri, sau \u201ejusti\u021biarii\u201d galactici capabili, f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 clipeasc\u0103, de \u00eenf\u0103ptuirea unui genocid, \u00een scopul scoaterii la mezat a unui bun care nu le apar\u021bine \u0219i care nici m\u0103car nu corespunde descrierii furnizate cump\u0103r\u0103torului?&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Schi\u021ba de \u00eencheiere, intitulat\u0103 <em>Eu sunt Gic\u0103 <\/em>(= Ghid Individual Complet Autonom, creat de Guvern pentru a supraveghea \u0219i, totodat\u0103, pentru a reeduca cet\u0103\u021benii, \u00een ale c\u0103ror locuin\u021be este plasat), se \u00eenscrie \u00een aria \u0219tiin\u021bifico-fantasticului histrionic; dincolo de deznod\u0103m\u00e2ntul simplist \u0219i de z\u00e2mbetele st\u00e2rnite, proza ne semnaleaz\u0103 un trend \u00eengrijor\u0103tor, ale c\u0103rui consecin\u021be pe termen lung nu vor fi amuzante.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Concluzion\u00e2nd, revenirea lui S.
