Este o carte ce trebuie \u201esim\u021bit\u0103\u201d mai degrab\u0103 dec\u00e2t \u201e\u00een\u021beleas\u0103\u201d, pentru c\u0103 Murakami nu ofer\u0103 r\u0103spunsuri clare, ci mai degrab\u0103 \u00eentreb\u0103ri care te urm\u0103resc mult timp dup\u0103 ce ai dat ultima pagin\u0103.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Romanul este construit pe o structur\u0103 dual\u0103, cu capitole care alterneaz\u0103 \u0219i cu dou\u0103 pove\u0219ti distincte, dar interconectate. Prima urm\u0103re\u0219te aventurile lui Kafka Tamura, un adolescent de 15 ani care fuge de acas\u0103 pentru a sc\u0103pa de profe\u021biile obscure ale tat\u0103lui s\u0103u \u0219i pentru a g\u0103si r\u0103spunsuri despre propria identitate. Kafka este \u00eenso\u021bit de un alter ego numit Corbul, o voce interioar\u0103 care func\u021bioneaz\u0103 ca ghid \u0219i consilier.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cealalt\u0103 linie narativ\u0103 se concentreaz\u0103 asupra lui Satoru Nakata, un b\u0103tr\u00e2n cu dizabilit\u0103\u021bi mentale care, dup\u0103 un incident misterios din copil\u0103rie, \u0219i-a pierdut capacitatea de a citi \u0219i scrie, dar a c\u0103p\u0103tat\u00a0 abilitatea stranie de a comunica cu pisicile. Pisicile vorbesc, pe\u0219tii cad din cer, iar personaje precum Johnnie Walker \u0219i Colonel Sanders apar ca ni\u0219te figuri simbolice, ce sfideaz\u0103 orice logic\u0103. Aceste elemente suprarealiste nu sunt doar figuri de stil, ci reflect\u0103 profunzimea subcon\u0219tientului, acel spa\u021biu unde traumele \u0219i dorin\u021bele nespuse prind form\u0103. Este vorba despre realism magic pur, unde logica obi\u0219nuit\u0103 \u0219i extraordinarul coexist\u0103 armonios, iar prin el Murakami sugereaz\u0103 c\u0103 \u00een lumea contemporan\u0103, limitele dintre realitatea material\u0103 \u0219i \u00eentunericul interior sunt distorsionate de imagini comerciale \u0219i de alienarea individual\u0103. Astfel, personajele sale tr\u0103iesc nu doar o c\u0103l\u0103torie fizic\u0103, ci \u0219i una metafizic\u0103, c\u0103ut\u00e2nd s\u0103 se elibereze de traume \u0219i s\u0103 se reg\u0103seasc\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stilul lui Murakami este inconfundabil, mai mult o form\u0103 de \u201evisare con\u0219tient\u0103\u201d,\u00a0 de aceea logica nu este mereu necesar\u0103 pentru a-i \u00een\u021belege romanele. \u00cen cazul lui <em>Kafka pe malul m\u0103rii<\/em>, umorul abstract \u0219i absurd echilibreaz\u0103 tonul filozofic al romanului, prin comentariile ironice ale lui Oshima sau remarcile lui Nakata despre via\u021b\u0103, care aduc o doz\u0103 de umanitate \u0219i u\u0219ureaz\u0103 tensiunea metafizic\u0103 a pove\u0219tii.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kafka Tamura \u00ee\u0219i alege singur prenumele pentru a-\u0219i crea o nou\u0103 identitate, iar alter egoul s\u0103u, \u201eb\u0103iatul numit Corbul\u201d, \u00eel ajut\u0103 s\u0103 fac\u0103 fa\u021b\u0103 maturiz\u0103rii for\u021bate \u0219i necesit\u0103\u021bii de a supravie\u021bui emo\u021bional, \u00een timp ce trauma abandonului matern \u0219i rela\u021bia complicat\u0103 cu tat\u0103l s\u0103u determin\u0103 tocmai aceast\u0103 dublare a sinelui. Paralela cu Franz Kafka este evident\u0103: alienarea, disperarea \u0219i realitatea fantastic\u0103 sunt teme care definesc universul celor doi autori. Murakami reu\u0219e\u0219te s\u0103 creeze o lume magic\u0103, cu toate acestea profund ancorat\u0103 \u00een realitatea modern\u0103 a Japoniei, iar tema oedipian\u0103 traverseaz\u0103 romanul ca un fir ro\u0219u al destinului, inevitabil \u0219i tulbur\u0103tor. Kafka Tamura fuge de acas\u0103 pentru a sc\u0103pa de profe\u021bia tat\u0103lui s\u0103u, dar fuga \u00eel aduce fa\u021b\u0103 \u00een fa\u021b\u0103 cu propriile temeri \u0219i dorin\u021be.
