{"id":16025,"date":"2025-12-14T09:42:01","date_gmt":"2025-12-14T07:42:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/egophobia.ro\/?p=16025"},"modified":"2025-12-14T00:47:47","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T22:47:47","slug":"poem-by-pawel-markiewicz-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/egophobia.ro\/?p=16025","title":{"rendered":"poem by Pawe\u0142 Markiewicz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>She-pirate and the tavern<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a late and warm autumn.<\/p>\n<p>The wind gathered leaves up on the roof<\/p>\n<p>of the marvelous tavern.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The seagulls heralded a memory \u2013 an initiation.<\/p>\n<p>The old pensioner-captain drank the intoxicant,<\/p>\n<p>like the ambrosia of the life.<\/p>\n<p>The female pirate Mary mentioned<\/p>\n<p>her own stories \u2013 the primeval myth:<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.vgy.me\/BLWSyZ.jpg?w=812&#038;ssl=1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Icarus desired a dazzle of stars.<\/p>\n<p>Daedalus wanted to become forever lost.<\/p>\n<p>The flight was an absolute rapture.<\/p>\n<p>Icarus! Be with me<\/p>\n<p>as a ghost in the tavern of<\/p>\n<p>the shine, the glory and the rebuke!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t mourn the dreamy Daedalus!<\/p>\n<p>His body was abducted by mermaids<\/p>\n<p>of the sea and mysterious depths.<\/p>\n<p>Icarus! Survive this night,<\/p>\n<p>when the Morningstar has to precede<\/p>\n<p>the fall of shooting stars,<\/p>\n<p>here and there!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Drunk on the emotions, full of eudemonia,<\/p>\n<p>perhaps a tender melancholy,<\/p>\n<p>the woman pirate remembers the storm<\/p>\n<p>of the century:<\/p>\n<p>The ship! Don\u2019t rock again!<\/p>\n<p>You were close to me<\/p>\n<p>and so romantic.<\/p>\n<p>May the starlit, starry,<\/p>\n<p>moonlit, moony melancholy<\/p>\n<p>of night embrace hearts<\/p>\n<p>of guests of this missing<\/p>\n<p>tavern!<\/p>\n<p>Forever and for eternity,<\/p>\n<p>the pirates will find<\/p>\n<p>their destiny,<\/p>\n<p>in harbours of hope, harbors full of<\/p>\n<p>taverns,<\/p>\n<p>which are decorated with flowers.<\/p>\n<p>The woman pirate is crying<\/p>\n<p>because of the parting<\/p>\n<p>with the beloved parrot<\/p>\n<p>in times of fulfillment of<\/p>\n<p>the enchantment-bewitchment.<\/p>\n<p>Her tear is not man-like,<\/p>\n<p>It has the color of the gold,<\/p>\n<p>such the sun during the storm.<\/p>\n<p>Mary longs for the pearl&#8217;s seeking,<\/p>\n<p>in the sea full of memoirs of Daedalus,<\/p>\n<p>of the hero of amusing and musing tenderness.<\/p>\n<p>The sempiternity will be true.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>She-pirate and the tavern &nbsp; It\u2019s a late and warm autumn.
