It was a Friday night in June at the ten-room motel nestled in the mountains between the large Wisteria Falls waterfall and the little tourist town named for it. Though she attended college out of town, Marigold was home for the summer where she enjoyed working part-time at her Aunt Eloise’s inn, especially when her relative was away. <!--more-->It was the cushiest job Marigold had ever had because she knew her aunt would never fire her since Marigold’s mother, Eloise’s sister, had loaned her a lot of money to help buy the motel.
