Huffman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>To the Enemies of My Soul<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI am not the victim type.<br \/>\nI am too defined for that.<br \/>\nAll my issues<br \/>\nhave blades.<br \/>\nThey break<!--more--><br \/>\nstring and bone alike.<br \/>\nAnything that comes too near.<br \/>\nSo fire that smile<br \/>\nas often as you dare.<br \/>\nJust be sure you do it<br \/>\nfrom over there.<br \/>\nYou see,<br \/>\nyou will lose more<br \/>\nthan the game.<br \/>\nIf your teeth<br \/>\ntrip.<br \/>\nOver my air.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Blue Pastures of Dusk<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nI close my eyes instead.<br \/>\nWanting the pain to stop.<br \/>\nWanting to be asleep.<br \/>\nI need that oblivion.<br \/>\nThat dark forgiving nothing.<br \/>\nOf thoughtless release.<br \/>\nNo dreams.<br \/>\nNo light.<br \/>\nNo life.<br \/>\nOnly the slow whisper of breath.<br \/>\nAlmost death.<br \/>\nPraying for silence<br \/>\nto escape.<br \/>\nAnd take its place.<br \/>\nOver lips<br \/>\nthat want nothing more<br \/>\nthan to forget.<br \/>\nHow to move.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vague in Spattered Glass<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nYour boredom<br \/>\nis the only stain.<br \/>\nIn this cell.<br \/>\nIn this hell.<br \/>\nI call it home.<br \/>\nAnd smear it<br \/>\nacross the floor.<br \/>\nContamination complete.<br \/>\nI can sleep now.<br \/>\nYour scent<br \/>\nwill burn<br \/>\nmy dreams.<br \/>\nFor a week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To the Enemies of My Soul &nbsp; I am not the victim type.
