Tetrakaidecalogus Metachristianus Axel Lenn Without much introduction and for the sake of all the free spirits known to mankind, these are the fourteen principles of self-correctness: I. You are the only master of your life and death alone, since day one till the very last. You are unique, therefore unlike the others: your life should match this perspective - to what purposes it's up to you to decide. You are the first to judge or sentence yourself alone and not any other person, no matter the reasons. You alone have the right to end your life, as we all come and go on our own. II. It is your right and for your direct benefit to doubt, to criticize and to make use of all your senses in your quest, whatever that may be. III. Your beliefs are of no one else's concern but your own and you should build on them, and change them if and when you think it fit. IV. Do not allow others to make choices for you as long as you do not make choices for others; you will assume and bear no other consequences but those following your direct and indirect actions. V. Be true to yourself and fight your own cause most of all. If you have to lie, don't do it to yourself. If you have to lie, make sure you do it right. If you have to lie, make sure you do no harm. VI. Face yourself at least once in a while; self-critical analysis won't kill you, on the contrary. Moreover, this will surely help you build a strong character. VII. Always look into matters from at least two perspectives other than your own. This should help you make better choices. VIII. Before doing any good to anyone, including yourself, make sure you are of no harm. IX. Honour those in line before you, as well as those after. X. Respect those who respect you; simply turn your back on those who don't, they're not worth wasting your time. XI. Forgive those who forgive you. Turning the other cheek to everyone who strikes you can damage your face. XII. Keep passing extremes, equidistance is always safer. XIII. Always think ahead. The herdal norms and dogmas of your time will inevitably expire. XIV. Set your interest first and always keep your head straight up, no matter what. After all, you are the most important thing of all.
